The PIGGOTT School in Wargrave - living in Henley

Do any of you (live in Henley and) have a child in The PIGGOTT School in Wargrave?

I understand Henley is not in catchment, but has anyone from Henley been able to get in in recent years?

What is the reality of the school run in and out of Henley? Is it quite doable or is traffic jammed at the bridge at school run times?

Do children in higher years take the train to the school from Henley?

Any general experience/opinion/advice (whether positive or negative) about PIGGOTT is very welcome as well.

Thank you so much in advance.

Hello! My children are now in the higher years groups at the Piggott School so I am not up to date on catchment area. I would however think it very unlikely that a child from Henley would get into Piggott in year 7. They tend to go to Gillotts which is a good school. There are however many children from Henley who to travel to the Piggott School by train for 6th form.

My children have both enjoyed Piggott School. Its the local school for Twyford, Wargrave and Charvil and other than those who go private or the tiny number who travel to Reading Boys or Kendrick all of the local children attend. Its not like London where children travel in all directions to different schools. Local children go to their local primary and then on their local secondary (Piggott).
