Will be applying this Autumn for entry in 2024 for my Son and wondering if anyone has any first hand experience of local secondary schools? From those I have discussed with I hear positive and negatives about all of the schools which I guess is to be expected!
From where we live, likely to be looking at Hutton Grammar, Tarleton Academy, Priory.
We are not religious and not sure how much chance we'd stand with All Hallows or Bishop's Rawstorne (also only just in catchment).
Son is bright, no SEN, sporty but more into football and know Hutton is very rugby oriented.
He'd have friends going onto various schools locally.
Will go to the all the open days, but just wondering if anyone had any insights or experiences.
