Did they find it tough? DS says it was awful.

My niece has - will see how she got on later and post.

DD had Britain (1906 to 1957) and she said the three essays were extremely hard. Source questions went a bit better.

DD said hers, Britain 1930-1997, went well. One more on Tuesday and then History is done

Thank you @ladydiggins . DS says the questions were really narrow. Of the 35 years studied, only 8 were examined!

I did this paper, found the source incredibly hard and unfair given it was only 2 relatively insignificant years examined. Apparently there have been complaints to the exam board!

thats interesting- thank you for sharing - hopefully if it was thought to be difficult by everyone then the grade boundaries will be lower.

My daughter studied that paper a couple of years ago. Her perspective is that, on past papers, questions that mainly focussed on specific short time periods were the norm.
