DS is having a major panic about tomorrows exam. He has Romeo and Juliet and anthology of poetry. Nothing is going in and his mind is going blank. Any last minute tips please. He had a few quotes not many and vaguely knows poems . Any predictions?

Take a deep breath. Mind blanks occur when stress takes over. Reassure him that he knows more than he thinks, which he does! A good nights sleep and a good breakfast. Depends on the child but maybe a read through of notes before the exam (unless that causes more stress). Wishing home the best of luck. It is a very stressful time for children and their parents.

No bright ideas I'm afraid but just wanted to say you are not alone. My DS is also adamant his brain has reached capacity, that he's rubbish at English and is going to fail in spectacular style.
Stay strong!
