My daughter has been offered places at SRRC Sixth form, West London Free sixth form and Orleans Park. We loved the first two but haven't visited OP. Could anyone share any information on any of the three sixth forms?

many thanks

Hi OP, you need to ask for your thread to be moved to Secondary Education. This is a backwater used by university lecturers.

We'll move this for you now, OP. Flowers

I live locally and my DD is y11 at a different state school in Richmond borough. I have heard far more positive feedback from friends with children at Orleans Park than either St RRC or West London free. I know friends who moved their high attaining son away from St RRC for sixth form.

OP, you do know that the offers are conditional, don't you? I don't mean just academically conditional, but also conditional on there being a space on enrollment day. SRRC will probably be fine as they're probably not oversubscribed (but check). Orleans Park almost certainly will be oversubscribed. They don't have many external places and I know that a couple of years ago, they all went to siblings (mostly Waldegrave girls with brothers at OP), and not even they all got in. But after siblings, it"ll be done by distance. Do you live close?

No clue about WLFS.

In case it helps, Orleans Park's admissions policy is here: https://www.orleanspark.school/filedownload/FFF67045-C299-1C71-7389EA41FA44438E.pdf/daa-2324v.pdf. The sixth form arrangements start on page 8. They have space for 140 students, of which only 5 are guaranteed for external applicants. Most or all of the remainder will be taken by their own year 11 students. (There are up to 216 student in year 11, but not all of them will get the required grades or want to stay).
