Landau Forte College Derby or Littleover community School

Hello all,

I am aware that LCS has catchment and that this is within Littleover. However, I wanted to know if Landau Forte College Derby also has a catchment and if those who reside in Oakwood fall within this catchment and or have a good chance of getting in.

Hi op, Landau has no catchment as such. It does prioritise students from certain inner city areas (not Oakwood) so they are more likely to get a place. Outside the inner city you are equally likely to gain a place. It is a popular school tho.

For LCS, yes, you will need to be in Littleover.

When I say “equally likely” in fact you are not very likely as it is so popular. But you cannot move into catchment (even inner city us not guaranteed). Worth a punt tho for sure if you are ok with the holidays.
