Habs girls waiting list

Anyone knows if Habs girls have waiting list or they just give offer or reject application?

Yes they do, I know someone who is on the Habs girls reserve list this year.

Don't have a DD myself but as far as I am aware reserve list might move if they have spaces but not sure about rejected. I know someone who contacted to school to get an idea, maybe you can try that?

We've got the offer but probably will turn it down, so hopefully you'll get in x

@miradera I think they have waiting list already so if anyone turns down offer then it goes to waiting list candidate.
Why are you turning down this school offer? What's your first preference and why you are choosing them other school over habs?

@School23 my understanding is that schools including Habs over offer so if people holding multiple offers turn down they have additional offer holders to make up for the places they have. It’s only when the additional offers get exhausted do they move to their waiting list. I am not sure though what sort of movement is there on the wait list in previous years.

@School23 it's just personal matter. I now worry dd won't be able to cope at Habs as she is very sensitive and not thick skinned at all. We will make decision with her together after the offer holders day

@miradera did you and DD make a decision on Habs? I understand there was an offer holder’s day last week.

We re on reserve list and contacted school.
They said wait till 6th

Yes, unfortunately there is no place for us. Very disappointed.

We turned down Habs offer yesterday. 3 more friends of mine did as well. So there should be some movement in the waitlist.

Not if they over offered and have had sufficient acceptance rate.

@Elevenplusmum1 why you and your friends declined habs? Are you going to any other private school or state school?

We accepted NLCS. My friends are going with SPGS, STAHS and NLCS.

We had been to both the offer holder's event and liked NLCS better. We have friends kids studying in both the schools and we have always heard good things about NLCS. We are looking forward for the new head Vicky B to start this Sept.
