How would you all choose between these school choices? We are looking for a well balanced school with strong academics and also balanced extra curricular activities and sports for our son to participate.

Have you visited the KGS sports site in Thames Ditton and the CLSB sports site in south London, these facilities are miles from each other? Have you factors in getting home from these sites or back to school and then getting home? Also dropping off on a Saturday in Thames Ditton for a match?
Also think about mixed and single sex.
Also football as no football at KGS.
Academically CLSB is the top option.

As Poppybuttons said, for academics CLBS is way ahead of the others in academic outcomes.
All great schools but if sports is important to you I’d say Whitgift as it has Rugby, Hockey, Football and cricket as core sports plus a great range of other non core sports. A far broader set of options compared to Kingston Grammar. Depends if DS has specific sports in mind?

@RedDogBlueDog , sorry no rugby at KGS and the football is lower level with hockey taking preference.
Hampton play football against CLSB and Whitgift but not KGS.

Hi there, of all three I'd personally opt for:
City of London, then Kingston Grammar, then Whitgift. Personal preference. I really like the former two schools. But for me, commute is a huge factor. We didn't apply for City or Kingston because they are too far and we aren't willing to move. Drop offs would have been difficult decision with two other younger children. Wishing you the best of luck in your decision making!
