Kew House School - kids local vs. further afield

Hi,

Just got an offer from KHS, which is our favourite school in terms of philosophy, educational approach, atmosphere. I assume most parents live locally, but does anyone know if kids also come from further afield - Wandsworth, Battersea (where we are)? Worried my DD will be alone on the commute and socialising will be hard if all her friends live around Kew.

Any thoughts on this would be really appreciated.

There are a lot of kids from Chiswick, but I have heard it is also popular along stops on the train into Gunnersbury. I think Chiswick is a popular area for the kids to hang out in after school, but that doesn’t mean they all live nearby. Kew House might be able to give you a breakdown of where kids came from the last couple years. I suspect it is becoming less local as the school becomes more popular.

Hi there we live in sw11 and are thinking of accepting offer at kew house.

I know kids from Wandsworth, SW18, going there because it's direct into Kew Bridge (when the trains are running 🙄). Also from Kensal Rise area because it's direct into Gunnersbury.

Hi all, congrats on the offers! We also have an offer for Kew. Does anyone know if there is any kind of offer holders event? It wasn't obvious from the email and we haven't yet received the paperwork in the post. 🙏

Yes, they're holding an open day/ offer holders visit on 22nd I think, just email registrar 🙂
