Lady Eleanor Holles (LEH) and Headington School Oxford

Hello, we will be moving to either SW of London or Oxford. My DD will be in year 10 in Sep 2023. Do you have any comments on LEH and Headington School (day school)?

I will say not to put too much stress on Oxbridge - all privates are seeing huge drops in numbers. If you think that’s on your radar go to a state school and use school fees for tutoring.

@DorotheaDiamond , 100% agree, I heard informally that Tiffin Boys got 37 Oxbridge offers this year. Surbiton High have 7, amazing if they have exceeded LEH.

@DorotheaDiamond @poppybuttons I also heard that more Oxbridge offers have been allocated to state school students in recent years.

People are moving children to state at 16 because of this

@LittleBearPad True. Private school students can apply state if they can have good GCSE results, no matter what catchment area they live.
