Help, am panicking!! My daughter has an interview next week and we have a chance to meet with the head after her session. We have absolutely loads of information on the school such as exam results, pastoral well being etc etc. I dont want to go in and have nothing to ask but on the other hand I dont want to ask stuff that has already been made available. Any hardened private school parents or teachers who could give me an idea of what to say/ask

How about questions about:
Transport. e.g. is there a scheme to put potential car-share families in contact with each other.
How do they allocate children to classes (keep junior school buddies together?)
Do you know when/if they set in each of the subjects
What feedback do you get ? annual reports or half-termly effort & achievement grades

Thank you so much fembear, that's just what I was looking for.

Good luck to you and your DD.

Dizzy, we are in the same situation today (well, @ a boys' school) - has your DD had her interview yet? We also have the opportunity to meet the head, (well actually the implication is that he want to see us...)
