Hi there. My year 11 just finished mocks thankfully. He is relieved to have a break from revision for a while.

That said, some of the new homework is revision based or some is new part of the syllabus they are covering next.

It is a little non stop right now. Hope they ease off the extra work to give them a decent Christmas break.

Mocks plus hormones equals attitude problem in my son. I get he’s stressed but his response is to shrug it all off as pointless (self defeating). It’s exhausting.

My daughters school seem to do exams every 6 weeks in year 11. She's in the middle of her 2nd round of mocks at the minute.

She's finding them OK and is still getting homework too.

Sounds like they are all in the same boat! Hang in there everyone 🙂

My year 11 has just finished his mocks.

He was most put out that he had a mock over one of the football matches and that he missed PE one week for a mock.

As you can see he found them really stressful. 🙄

DCs school isn't doing them till January! There goes Christmas..
They are so stressed and run down already.

Just finished here as well... moody, grumpy and ready for a break (and that's him not me)
A lot of pressure this year as they have to really work hard to get the grades after 2 years of COVID
