Wandsworth/ Graveney test results vs Indy entrance?

How does the Wandsworth test compare to London Indy entrance requirements?
DC did well (although not brilliantly) in the Wandsworth test, with the possibility of getting into the Graveney extension stream and am trying to work out how it relates to the level required by the London Indies.
we are doing the prep ourselves and I am not from the UK originally so not sure if the exact level required for entrance.

My DD got a score which would have just got her into Graveney that year (255) and she got Wimbledon High. WHS stage 1 is very similar to the Wandsworth test.

I think that it depends on the independent school (both in terms of competition and type of entrance tests) and also other strengths of the child. Wandsworth test is very similar to WHS first stage so results in Wandsworth test can be a good proxy for that, but WHS also has a second stage (hence depending on other strengths of the child). And VR and NVR does not figure so much in other schools entrance test (e.g. KGS) or figures less prominently (e.g. Emanuel has VR but not non-VR) or is part of a wider selection process (e.g. ISEB).

Thankyou. I guess it's a difficult correlation, but we are looking at Trinity and Dulwich (which seem to be similar level to WHS)??
DC got a mark a little lower than 255 on the Wandsworth test and one which would probably not get in to Graveney on first offer but almost definitely by 31/8. (all previous years has a lower figure for the last offer)
I think it's sounds like there is room for improvement but he is approaching the standard needed and obviously should continue working on the maths/English compnenents.

@Pollypocket81 , It sounds like he is on the right path and you have a good result already for Graveney, which is one in itself. Good luck with the other exams.

I would guess that nearly all kids getting 255 on the WT would be capable of meeting the minimum standards for Trinity or Dulwich, I've known plenty of kids get into those schools with lower WT scores, but as others have said the WT is VR/NVR only - it doesn’t involve any written work of any kind; doesn’t require any knowledge of the KS2 syllabus; etc - so a child whose written work etc doesn't match their reasoning [likely more common amongst kids who've been to state primaries] might struggle in some of the private school tests.
