Colchester County High School for Girls vs Tonbridge Grammar for Girls

Can anyone please share their personal experience or insights on Colchester County High School for Girls and/or Tonbridge Grammar for Girls? I understand the two schools are very different in curriculum as one does A levels and the other one does IB. I am interested to know more about their pastoral care, pupils' mental wellbeing and competition among girls. We will be relocating and we are flexible in location. Thank you so much!🙏

Have you considered Chelmsford as you are relocating. Chelmsford County High School has a good reputation. Easy walk from bus and train station.

I heard Colchester was a bit of a sheltered environment but everyone I knew who went seems to have been successful in doing whatever they wanted to do.

I went to one and absolutely loved it but 35+ years ago so pretty certain my comments are no longer relevant

Thank you! I've heard lovely things about Chelmsford County High School as well. However, my daughter didn't take the 11+ for that since I didn't want to overwhelm her with too many exams.
