Transport from Leamington to Stratford Girls Grammar school

We are considering Stratford Girls Grammar school but looks like the journey to and from Leamington would be difficult. Looking for advice on what others do if u have/had a child who attended the school from Leamington

Our son has just started at AGS using the Ridleys bus service running from Leamington which stops off at both the boys and girls grammar schools in Stratford on it's way to Alcester. It is a longish journey however he seems to be having a whale of a time on the bus..

If you live close to Leamington railway station is there a train?
(I used to live that area 25 years ago - there was a train then - no idea about now)
