Wanting to get a little gift for girls starting secondary school

My DD is starting secondary school next week, I was thinking of getting her and two other girls a little present to mark the occasion. They are all fairly nervous and I wanted to be able to cheer them on from the sidelines! Any ideas - something cheap as we've spent loads on the uniform etc!?

Take a pic together on their way on the first day. Frame it. They'll have it to look back on when nerves are a distant memory.

Nice colourful pens - I’m thinking the purple and pink uniball ones from Ryman - they’re nice for underlining etc. in notes and are cheap. They’ll have lots of notebooks to name/timetables to write out etc. and depending on the school might be able to brighten them up with some colour (we were at my school!)

Th photo idea is good - mine recreated the shot at prom 5 years later, which was amazing to see how they had all changed.

Water bottle, pens, notepads, chocolate/sweets or pay for them to have a trip to the cinema or something together before they start.
