St George's School Harpenden/ Sexey's School Bruton

We are considering St George's School Harpenden and Sexey's School Bruton for my Year 9 and Year 10 DSs next year. Could I've your opinions about the these schools, particularly the boarding aspect? Are these schools demanding?

You will struggle to get places at St George’s outside Y7 admissions. It is one of the most oversubscribed schools in Hertfordshire and only has 10 boarders in each year. Places come up very infrequently.

I have had two friends remove their kids from Sexeys. It was a couple of years ago. Maybe it's improved.
