St. John's Billericay (senior) - do you go there or know someone that does?

Hello All,

I'm in a very unsettling situation. We live out of any secondary school catchment and DD was not offered any of the state secondary schools on our application.

The one DD was offered is in the bottom 10 performing schools and still not in catchment.

We are planning to appeal but I have read that these are often times unsuccessful so we are scrambling for a plan B - independent schools.

The 2 closest to us are Brentwood School (already full so no late application cycles) and St John's Billericay (spaces available).

Does your child or anyone you know attend the St John's Billericay senior school? I would please like to hear about it from first hand experience.

Hi I have been looking for information on St John’s School and it is very limited. Did your child end up going there?

Hi my daughter just joined in sept 24 in year 7 and loves it. She is so happy and feels quite balanced between academics and wellbeing. About half the kids from the prep school stayed on from what I can work out and I’ve met lots of their parents who speak very highly of the school so very happy. Hope that helps anyone looking. My daughter can struggle with focus and definitely the small class sizes help and she really likes her teachers. They all seem kind and encouraging from what she has told me.
