DD has accepted a place at G&L to start Yr 7 this September. She will have a 25 min tube journey and less than 10 mins walk at either end.
As the school is not in our immediate area, we haven’t heard much from the parental circuit.
Would really appreciate any feedback from parents whose DD’s have/are attending G&L about what the school is really like. Many thanks.

Congratulations! It is an exceptional school in every way. Girls are confident but kind. Acadia without being pressured. Pastoral care is pro-active and excellent, as is the teaching. No criticisms at all really.

Academic - not Arcadia!

Thank you so much- that’s hugely encouraging.

Congratulations! My daughter is in Y7. We travel 30min by train with walk on both ends. Not being from West London I was initially apprehensive about travel and school. My daughter has managed both just fine. Made friends and enjoys the atmosphere. Her classmates are all nice. School encourages the girls to take responsibility for their work and matters. So I am pretty hands off now compared to primary days.

That’s great to hear- thank you so much

Many congratulations to your DD and her hard work!

Bit surprising that after you accepted the offer you are seeking feedback on "what the school is really like".

Thanks for the congratulations.

We were very impressed with the school, and its academic success speaks for itself. However, it will be DD’s first time attending an independent school, so any helpful insight into practical aspects are always very useful, especially after accepting 😊
