Torn between these two independent schools for our DD. Burgess Hill has always had a great reputation but the longstanding head of 36 years is leaving in Sept, which makes me slightly wary...
BG has just had a rebrand and seems like they're finishing off a big renovation, but reviews in the past have been a bit meh, esp. for the senior school. Particularly worried about reports of bullying not being taken seriously, although there's some indication on other threads that this accusation is overblown? I think they have a fairly new head, so would be interested to know if she has started to shake things up a bit.
Is anyone willing to share current experience of either school? DD is our eldest so we don't know anyone 'on the inside'!
