I’d like to please get some advice from mums whose kids are at Channing or FHRP.
My daughter is a cheerful, outgoing, energetic kid. She loves sports, sciences, music, languages, and drawing. Not so much into English. Academically she does pretty well, but not top 5 -7 in her class (which I am completely happy with, second tier academically is perfectly fine by me as long as she has life skills and resilience).
I’d like a nurturing school for her, where she is inspired by her teachers and can have a good relationship with them (they know her by name, know what makes her tick and how to get the best out of her).
Channing and FHRP are two schools I’m mostly impressed with.
But which one is a better fit for her?

I would very much welcome the views from parents with kids at these schools.
Channing seems a bit more ‘humanistic’ subjects oriented - classics, music, art, drama. Am I right? How is science at Channing and how is their Sports provision?

FHRP seems more sports, languages and sciences oriented. I like that they have Economics and Politics as subjects. Also their clubs seem endless! Am I right?
Any views would be most welcome.

Thank you so much!

Channing is great fir anyone into music snd art but they also have some excellent science teachers. Sport - less so - but a lot of London schools are not that sporty. Does your dd have offers from both schools? Your choice might also be driven by how easy it is for you to get to the school.
