Epsom College VS City of London Freemen's School

My child currently goes to a single sex state grammar school. She doesn't particularly enjoy it and wants to leave for sixth form. I am considering sending my child to a private school for sixth form. I'm thinking Epsom College or Freemens? If anyone has children there or have been to the school, opinions on the 2 would be great.

I posted this on the other thread you started but I just wanted to reiterate how much my DC enjoys Freemen’s. I’d be happy to answer any questions :)

Even if your child is a day pupil at Epsom, they will follow the boarding routines, eg supper, clubs and evening prep; Saturday school and matches.

I would think very carefully indeed about this, I presume your DD is at Nonsuch? Moving to Epsom from there would be a massive culture shift. What is it that she isn't enjoying at Nonsuch? If you were further over towards Sutton I would suggest you have a look at Trinity instead TBH.

@365ijustwannadrinkwine Happy to know that your DC enjoys studying at Freemen! Would you share more about why you like it? How's the pastoral care and situation of bullying? In other posts there are quite some negative comments about the school, what do you think and what is your own experience? Thanks in advance!

@365ijustwannadrinkwine hi would you pls be able to share more about your positive experiences with DC. I’m strongly considering CLFS for DS after getting offer this weekend. What year is your DC in? How good are the school in integrating new pupils? Any experiences, good or bad, would be great if you could share 🙏
