Transfer out of Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle 16+

I’d be very interested to hear from anyone who transferred their child out of the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle for A-levels in an English school.

I’m thinking of doing the same for DS, currently in Seconde, and looking at both private and state options.

Really grateful for any insights.

No insights as a parent but I had a friend who was half English half French who joined from there into a super selective all girls west london school with me into the 6th form and did fine. I think it helped that two of her A-levels were languages and one was French so she was well prepared. I think had she done something that was more reliant on the content learned in GCSEs she may have struggled? Not sure. Socially you wouldn't have known she hadn't been there since 11, I struggled more than she did (having moved from another continent).
