NW London non selective independent schools for boys

Hello fellow parents! I am still recovering from the 11+ nightmare for my daughter who just started Y7 at a fantastic independent school.

However I now need to focus on my boy who is in Y5 in a local state school. We live in NW11 and are looking for a non selective secondary independent school for him. He is a bright boy, but a slow learner and I am looking for a nurturing environment where he will build the confident at his own speed and be a happy child. Mill Hill would be my ideal scenario, but I suspect exams will be challenging. We are also thinking about NBH in Hampstead, Aldenham (I think they offer bus routes). Has anyone heard about North London Grammar School in Hendon? Any tips would be appreciated! Thank you

Hi Rrelaxo

Have you considered Portland Place or is it too central for you?

@CruCru thank you - a bit of a stretch in terms of travel but will have a look!
