Kids social / special interest groups Knaphill - not sport

Can anyone recommend social / special interest clubs (not sports or scouts) around Knaphill / Woking please? Possibly HE groups. We've recently returned to the UK, having home schooled abroad for the last few years. Our son (11) does not have a school place and is incredibly lonely. We are continuing the home school curriculum so the academic side is sorted but he would like to connect with other kids. We do not have a network to tap into so need a bit of guidance please. Thanks

What sort of things does he like? There are lots of theatre type groups too, some music things if you're looking for something which isn't sport/Scouts.

Assume your son is Y7 age - are you on the waiting list for schools? I live nearby and there is definitely a range of schools (some great and hugely over-subscribed down to the less popular).....

Yes he's in Y7 and on the waiting list for his brother's school but a bit complicated because we applied from out of county while waiting for house situation to be finalised. From a settling in perspective he isn't keen to start at one school and then move to the same as his brother - the 2 closest schools are massively oversubscribed and we work across time zones so 2 schools is pretty much impossible from a "time out of the office" point of view for drop off/ fetching. With every best intention Covid killed plans that aligned with school applications so there's not much we can do except wait for the process to unfold.
