St Edmond's college and Haileybury college

St Edmond's college in ware or Haileybury in Hertford
Hi all, I am considering both of these schools for my son for 2022 secondary intake. Can anyone please give me any insight into these schools, I am looking for views from current parents on latest updates, good and bad experience. My son will be going there as a day schooler, is it still the case that they have to attend 6 days a week in Haileybury? Or is it for the boarders only?

I am also reaching out to ex students / parents of ex students on how well did you finish, and which universities did you go into after finishing these schools?

I will appreciate any of your input 😊

Haileybury has Saturday morning school followed by sport. That’s either something you can work with or not. It’s a great school though.

Any one else?? How about St Edmond's college? Any reviews on this school would be greatly appreciated

St Edmunds also a boarding school but only sport on Saturday (no lessons). Pastoral care really good and lovely Head.

@Joyfullasever where did you end up applying to? my DS has just received an offer to Haileybury for 2022.

I have applied to St Edmonds, my son is really happy with this choice as we wanted to spend weekend with family, so decided against Haileybury. Entrance exam in January but we are very hopeful that he will get in.
