St George's school, Harpenden or Hockerill Anglo-European College, Bishop's Stortford

My DS is going to secondary school next year and I would like to have opinions about the above schools (particularly the boarding aspect).

Hi there’s a recent Hockerill boarding thread on the main Education page of that helps. One thing I would say is that Hockerill is about 40% boarding whereas St George’s is less than 10% so you might want to bear that in mind in terms of friendship pool and Extra curricular provision.
