Bolingbroke vs Kingsdale which one would you choose?

As above, if distance isn't an issue and both are realistic choices. For example, got offer from one and on the WL for another.
My DC is into Math, singing and learning new things. Personally wise, DC is competitive but soft and non confrontational. DC is bad at pushing back if bullied. I've heard that could be a problem at Bolingbroke.

Tell me what would you choose? Thank you.

Surely distance would be an issue in terms of school commute?
If you attend a Bolingbroke feeder school then you would live near Bolingbroke. I know Kingsdale is lottery admission but is it worth the journey?

Thank you DonGray. We don't live close to Bolingbroke. Ended up at one of the furthest feeder schools couple of years ago because they had a space for DC. We were forced to move primary schools due to daily physical bullying at his original primary, hence Bolingbroke became an option. It takes 30 mins door to door to Bolingbroke and 40 mins door to door to Kingsdale, not a massive difference in commute.

If your DC is into singing and maths then Kingsdale has a huge amount to offer.

Maths scholarship programme looks amazing, and their music is fantastic.

I have a DC in Y7 there on a music scholarship (singing) if you want to ask anything.

Thank you , OhCrumbs, that's lovely, sounds like a perfect fit for my DC. What is your favourite thing about school so far?
