Nostalgia: did anyone do CCP in the mid 70s in secondary school?

Thinking about it this evening.

My Grammar did French in 1st form (Y7), but only the selected did either German or Latin in Y8.

The rest of us did CCP; Cambridge Combined Project? programme?

It was, basically, Classics.

Greek mythology, society, philosophy, belief systems; then the Roman equivalents. 2 year course.

But all in English 😂

Does anyone else recall CCP?

No we didn't, at my Grammar we all did French and a choice of Latin or German. I chose German but have often wondered whether I would have enjoyed Latin (my eldest took Latin GCSE as her language).

My secondary school years were also mid-late 70s (I took O Levels in 1980)
