City of London for Boys 10+ 2021

My DS is offered a place at CLSB 10+. He will be starting from Sep 2021. He is kind of shy and not very sporty or arts oriented. More academic; Maths being his strong area.
Can you share your experience / views on the school given the profile of the child.

Hello, congratulations to your DS. 10 /year 6 is a great time to join as all the boys are new and looking to make friends. There seems to be quite a spread of boys, some quieter and some more ebullient. Being brainy is respected, I’m sure your son will be just fine. Maths is a strong point for the school, so I’m sure he’ll find plenty of competition and encouragement there. Good luck for September!
