Small, nurturing indie for bright girl, south east London

We have a few years yet, but starting to think about secondary schools for DD. She's likely on the autistic spectrum. Is very, very sensitive and is anxious. Okay in school but there are often fall outs at home. She's very, very bright. Terrible social skills! Are local school is a high performing Harris Academy; the opposite of what I think she needs. We're in SE25, on the border of SE19.

Any ideas?

I can't make any recommendations but am following the thread as I have a friend in an almost identical situation (but a bit further north than you) and would like to be able to either make helpful suggestions or at least nod sympathetically in a slightly less clueless way.

Try Oasis Academy Shirley Park. It is near South Norwood swimming pool. Not too far, could take the 196 bus to get there.

How far are you from Sydenham High School? It’s part of the GDST and has a good reputation as a small, nurturing school. Given a relatively broad intake (compared to its super-selective neighbours, it gets great results. Might suit?
