Please help can you link me to research on which groups fare worse when comparing teacher predicted grades to outcome?

Hello, I am upset about the state of the GCSES and A levels exams ( as are lots of pupils, parents, teachers). I just wondered what pupils often do better/worse than teacher predictions ( i.e. those that may be penalised by exams being cancelled and relying on predictions potentially from work done a year prior to when exams were due to be set).

What is the point of this though? There is really no alternative and the decision is now made.

For me and my DC it may have a point.

I know I performed a lot better in some of my actual exams compared to my mocks ( more focused and time to revise) and my DC may have been the same. At least I hope they get a chance in November 2021 if it suits them Smile.

If you look at the consultation papers from last years CAGS all that info is there.
