Is there a Year 9 thread?

Just wondering if there was a year 9 thread, for those thinking about GCSE options, the beginning of coursework and general school chat?

DD has gone back for her first day since March today, armed with the knowledge that she needs to pick her options over the next couple of month - could be tricky as she has no idea what she wants to do in the future

We've also got no science practicals here, well thye've both been sent a link to read up on theory at home but don't think either of them have done it. DS is on day 4 of isolation, first two days he did well with me, last 2 he's been very sleepy and whiney but says he's well. Though as he's ASD whiney is fairly standard with school work. He did the Senior Maths Challenge recently and should get results soon. He struggles with the on-off nature of things.
