Has anyone heard today or recently that teachers are to submit class rankings for each subject as opposed to submitting a grade they would expect a pupil to have achieved if siting the exam proper ?

I was under the impression that the class rankings were in addition to a grade submission to the examinations board.

@Punxsutawney I did think it must be quite common esp if you have ASD. When school was over, it was over. Like a light being switched off.

He knows he needs two 7's in science to do biology and to pass English and maths. But he will deal with it when it happens. Must be nice really, but I'm.the one worring about logistics while he is totally at peace.

I'm not sure it's a great life lesson for A levels. But he is happy at least 😁

lego ds wasn't motivated when the gcses were still going ahead! As soon as they were cancelled that was it. Finished.

As you say not great practice for A levels as Ds finds self guided study very hard but we will have to cross that bridge when we come to it.

Punxsutawney the guidance states that pupils should not be disadvantaged when being graded if they are unable to complete any work since 20 March ie. lockdown
