Boarding Schools - when do you think they will reopen?

I'm interested in other people's opinions on when you think they may reopen. I obviously appreciate it depends on government advice. I'm of a mind to say September. But then I'm also wondering if they may reopen in June - but only on a day pupil basis.

I think it opens a whole can of worms for overseas parents whose children may have to quarantine, and in addition I think parents who don't live in Europe will not send their children back at all. I would estimate that is 50% of boarders at my dd's school. Is it worth them opening boarding houses for just 5 weeks? Or can they afford not to?

Dd’s School has a full timetable 9am - 3/4pm including an hour for lunch which is reduced from the normal 9-6pm which 40 mins lunch.

I think they are hoping to be able to return in September. The boarding houses are pretty small & cramped though.

Don't all teachers live out?
I think the main problem would be staff coming in and out like cleaners, maintenance, security.
Plus house staff that live in will be going off site, they don't stay in all the time.
Then there are deliveries, invited guests, inspectors, and all manner of people coming and going.
