Camden School for Girls waiting lists

I know school wait list places really doesn’t mater in the grand scheme of things but in the spirit of trying to keep some sense of normality...

...has anyone gained a waiting list place?

DD would have received a place any other year but the distances really shrunk this year so is on a waiting list which hasn’t moved.

Pre-covid we assumed she’d get a place before September. I’m now assuming people with a place at an indi and a place at CSG are unlikely to give up their state place and DD therefore won’t get in.

I doesn’t matter, she has a school place and who knows what’s going to happen with schools anyway?! Just a chat really...

Can I ask how far you are from the school? DD is current Y5 so am just asking for my own reasons! It won't be first choice and a place is highly unlikely on offer day but DD liked it.
I think this current Y6 is a big birth rate year as some primaries took a bulge class so that may have impacted the distances. I hope your DD either gets the place or is happy with her offer.

Yes it was a high birth rate year and I remember the bulge classes Islington put on but I think they’ve all played out now, as in most of the bulge classes are no longer full?
