Oakwood school, Hillingdon

Hi I wondered if there were views on Oakwood school we didn't even put it down as a choice and have now got this. Don't know whether to accept this place and appeal . Really worried about this as a choice thank you in advance

I don’t know Oakwood unfortunately. It is on our list to look at for our Y5. Do you get an opportunity to visit it all? I know that Harefield Academy did an meeting for parents who’s children did not apply for it, but were allocated it - maybe worth a check.

What were your preferences? You could go on the waiting lists? Is is worth checking with Hillingdon which other schools have places and see if any are a better fit?

Thank you for that that's a good idea I will check unfortunately schools are pretty much full here so it's really hard to get a place . Thanks do much though
