Term time job in High school wages

Hi all,

I’m applying for an admin role during term time at a local school. It’s 25 hours per week and I’ve been told the hourly rate is £9.18 but I’m not sure how this translates to a monthly wage amount?

Does anyone here work in a school that can tell me how term time pay works or how much per month this would equate to?

Thank you

OP, you multiply 25 x 9.18 x number of weeks of school year, ie 39 weeks in state sector & add in holiday pay and divide by 12, that is your monthly pay so you earn the same amount in November when you work every week as in August when you don't go to work. You can't take holiday in term time without it being unpaid leave.
