Hello everyone,
Please I am in a desperate situation to get a very good workbook/website on physics, biology and chemistry. DD has tried CGP but am not really feeling it at all . Any suggestion will be appreciated .
Thank you my good people .

DS really likes Seneca. It's been recommended by his school science teachers as well.

Thank you . I will look it up

Tassomai is another site - DD1 is getting on with it at the minut quite well.

There are you tube channels which might help in conjunction with books you already have.

My DS really rated the mygcsescience website. There is a charge but he saw a 2/3 level increase between mocks and the real things.

The Collins workbooks are levelled, so there are three books per subject. Some good questions in there, some hit and miss (like all the science supplementary material because the specs were written in such a hurry and support materials rushed out!). I found the cgp workbooks really aimed towards the grades 6-9. So Collins could help, if that's an issue.

DD's school have signed them all up to Seneca. I'm not a great fan of online stuff personally, but it seems good even to me.

BeanBag7 · 08/11/2019 07:51

Seneca is good for the basics but doesnt help with longer answer, application or complex questions.

Which exam board is she studying?

CoreSciences · 08/11/2019 11:43

www.coresciences.co.uk/ is a new online learning platform that caters for biology, chemistry and physics, and largely focuses on the required practicals via lab simulation. However, it also provides the theory work as well so that students are fully equipped.

Jackeroosmum · 19/11/2019 14:53

You should try: theeverlearner.com/ - covers all sciences (AQA) and has videos to watch and quizzes to do too.

Comefromaway · 19/11/2019 14:54

Seneca for learning the content and being quizzed topic by topic. Tassomai for repetition.

Dc liked freesciencelessons and primrosekitten on YouTube
Also Seneca

Rosieposy4 · 22/11/2019 21:08

Seneca very basic, ok for AO1 only and some errors, rather underwhelmed with it.
My freesciencelessons, primrose kitten and gcse pod all good on you tube.
