Best place to buy watch?

DS is in Year 7 and it has become apparent Grin that he needs a watch. Any recommendations of where to buy one? The ones I've seen seem to be either quite childish or really expensive. Thanks.

H Samuels usually have a fairly cheap basic range. Recommend cheap as DSleft his on the school playing field after a PE lesson, and didn't remember until it had poured with rain all night 😁

HSamuel.
Don't buy a 'smart' watch as they aren't allowed in exams.

Don't buy a 'smart' watch as they aren't allowed in exams.
Exam rules may have changed by the time the OPs son takes his GCSEs though.
There are rumours that at some point all watches could be banned as it's hard to tell the difference between a smart watch and some other types by just looking at them.

I saw that too, but smart watches definitely won't be permitted - they're not going to loosen the rules whatever happens!
