Best opaque black tights for school

DD starts secondary in September, up to now she’s worn woolly tights but she now needs black opaque, in age size 11/12. Are any brands better at being ladder proof and worth spending a bit extra on, or are they all much the same? I very rarely wear tights so I’m not sure of what to get for her.

these tights are the ones dd has and they are pretty ladder resistant, i bought them at the start of last term and they did last the whole term, despite her yanking on them after getting changed for PE in a rush x

I think they're all much the same, I have bought everything from Primark to M&S for my daughter and they all get laddered just the same so I now stick to the cheapies!

I'd say they are all much the same and will get laddered with annoying frequency. Which is less annoying if they were inexpensive in the first place. I get supermarket ones for DD

(your dd will need the small size- which is for people 4"11-5"3 i think x)

I think the adult sized primark ones are pretty good actually. Might be worth seeing if the smallest ones fit

Snag tights last forever, I've had some of my opaque ones over a year. They do school packs for kids.

Primark is very good for value.
