Mill Hill County Music Results! HELP!

My son recently did the music audition for Mill Hill county and I am trying to gauge if he has any chance of getting in.

He scored 59, last years cut off was 63 on national offer day. Does he have any chance of getting in? He is absolutely distraught bless him. I have told him he has done exceptionally well considering he only did his grade 1 in april.

I would appreciate any advice!

I think generally the scores for Mill Hill drop quite a lot for both music and academic. As it has no catchment many people use it as a mock or a back up option. Have you emailed the school to ask for September cut offs for the last 3 years?

Thank you so much for replying @3Muses Yup cut offs last year on national offer day were 63 for past couple of years. I'm thinking he may still have a chance after that?

Yes, we used it as back up as well with a music place (we were just below the previous year's cut-off scores) - didn't need it in the end but I do gather there's quite a lot of movement. Good luck!
