Schoolbag for 11 year old boy

I have no idea what to get! Ideally waterproof so that seems to be sports brands. But is that uncool?!

My son had Hype in y7 but now carries a black Nike one.

My son has a laptop rucksack from costco (think it was about £25), it has loads of pockets and big enough to fit his sports kit in too.

Its lasted a year so far and doesn't look worn at all.
Daughter decided she wanted the same one for college too.

My DS has a portal, the video game bag, bright orange. I can spot him in a crowd
