Hi, we're relocating to Swansea and aiming to be there in time for summer and ready for our children to start the new academic year in Wales. Our son starting year 7 in Sept has significant SEN and has had loads of help and an EHCP in a mainstream Primary which has helped but at times hasn't felt enough.
We have completed an application with Swansea LEA (they don't use EHCPs yet) but have yet to find a house so we don't know exactly where we'll be living. (Aiming for Newton, Murton or Bishopston) Any advice about or experience of schools with a hub for SEN (ASD, ADHD, Anxiety, Sensory and communication issues) or Special schools in Swansea would be very helpful!
