Have you found out.. i am looking for the same question to be answered.

Hi this should possibly be in Prinaty education ?

My DD attends Northwooe college - we chose that out of the 3 just based on which one we liked the most and thought fit our daughters personally the best - Northwood college in our opinions offered the best pastoral care.

DD is now y2 and has been there since nursery. It’s a brilliant school, she is thriving and we have no complaints.

Feel free to ask me any specific questions you may have and I will do my best to answer. :)

What queries do you have?

Elspeaks · 07/03/2019 22:28

Thanks AutumNymph and Village48 for offering to reply. My daughter has offers from both NWC and Reddiford for Reception 2019. I need to make a choice. While I was exposed to the academic progress and excellence that Reddiford offers, I wasnt convinced about its extra curricular facilities and infrastructure which would shape up my dd all round personality.

NWC on the otherhand looked very all rounded but I am unaware of its academic excellence first hand other than just knowing its at rank 48 in Independent schools.

So my comparision is currently on academic excellence of NWC and will it prepare my dd enough for 11+ exams so that I can target to move to grammar schools, NLCS, Habs or the likes...

Any inputs, experience or feedback will be highly appreciated 😊

Reddiford is better for that. They don’t have big grounds but have an increasing amount of extra curricular clubs as the children get older. Also because it’s small the children get lots of different responsibilities/opportunities such as performing in end of term performances or representing the school in different sports
