Secondary school girl learning difficulties surrey

Hi All
Would be most grateful for any help. We need to move my daughter's school for all sorts of reasons - but primarily not doing well there and they are not understanding her learning needs, many inexperienced teachers etc. We are in Epsom and it will be for year nine. She is really bright but has dyspraxia and ADD (not badly enough to get her a statement) so classrooms are difficult for her but with understanding she can do really well. Does anyone have any experience of any schools that would be good? Thank you and happy Christmas.

State or private?

Louise1278 · 22/12/2018 08:59

Probably private as she needs smaller classes.

Epsom college
RAA, Merstham
Moon Hall near Dorking

How about Duke of Kent near Ewhurst? It's fairly small and supposed to have great pastoral support.

Louise1278 · 22/12/2018 19:58

Thanks. She wouldn't get into Epsom college in a million years, plus it would bankrupt us. Didn't think she could do Moon Hall as she doesn't have dyslexia. Hadn't heard of others, will check them out. Thank you.

Just out of Surrey but Farlington sounds like it would suit her

Downsend? They are starting to take children from year 9 upwards, I think it's next year. They are a very caring school.
