Studying ds(13) - Scotland S2 Maths

Ds(13) is in S2, doing well, but as the work is progressively getting harder it’s time he did some regular studying.

They get very very little homework, instead they do regular class assessments/mini tests and in the school handbook it says they are expected to do 30mins study per subject per week.

Physics/Chemistry/modern studies/geography are covered by reading notes and using bbc bitesize. French by using the app Duolingo for 10-15 mins each night midweek. English by nightly reading. PE is ok. Graphical comms he is going to drop at the end of the year.

That leaves maths. He does some work in mymaths, but we (me and him) were wondering if anyone can recommend a better app/website which would give him good, subject relevant, questions to work through?

Not used it but I see Khan academy mentioned quite often?

Or an English KS3 maths workbook (e.g. CGP) might be suitable? (Working on the assumption that maths is maths so you shouldn't really need something Scotland specific).

Try posting in the Scotsnet topic for more Scottish respondents.

Ds is in S6, doing AH Maths (and Physics) but pretty much did his own studying, so I don't really know what he did (at Parents' Evenings, we asked what we should be doing to support him and they said, "Whatever you are doing now", to which we replied, "But that's nothing Confused" and they answered, "It seems to be working" Confused)
