Who I do choose A* student or teacher????

Got a dilemma, do I choose an A* student to help my daughter who needs extra tuition or do I choose a teacher.

I’d say teacher. People with lots of knowledge are not necessarily best equipped to pass it on. Unless they have lots of experience in tuition of course!

Teacher particularly as they most likely have better knowledge of exam marking etc.

Teacher - they're trained to teach people, to identify areas for improvement, to recognise strengths and to tailor the learning to the student.

An A* student doesn't know how to do any of that. Just because they understand the subject that doesn't mean that they can teach it to someone else.
