I need to talk to a Science Teacher about the NEW GCSE Science Curriculum

I need to talk to a Science Teacher about the NEW GCSE Science Curriculum.

Its also difficult to get to grips to as I am a lone teacher in the field, have no official teacher training and my adjustment issue is made worse from not having certain things i need verifying or answering; answered.
I don't want to look incompetent at work to ask these questions, so I feel I can't even ask for a help or have a mentor either.

Please help, so I can get my professional confidence back on track.

I assume you're a teacher? If so, find out which other schools are in your cluster and when their science cluster meetings are, then go along! Believe me, no one will think badly of you, as you're only improving your own professional skills!

I am a teacher but an unqualified one (as they are really needing science teachers atm).

Excuse me for sounding silly but how do I find a science cluster meeting? I'm not sure where to start.

Do I call the receptionists of my local school and take it from there or a different approach?

go to the TES website community and talk to other teachers

If you look at the association for science education website you'll be able to see upcoming events/training/meet ups in your area.
