Dd is in year 12. Doing edexcel B.

I'm confused as even the most recent books seem to be from 2015 and I know the syllabus changed (?) a couple of years ago so not sure if these are up to date enough?

2015 is when the new specs were started to be taught, not when the first exams were taught. Any of those are relevant but don't know which are the best (await biologists - do we any biologists on mn?)

Exams were sat, obviously...

Thanks. Hopefully any book published in 2015 is still current then.

Biology tutor here. The Ann fullick book is one of the recommended edexcel textbooks. Her college/6th form should be providing something like this I would imagine? Or at least they should be giving the students a specific textbook recommendation? The other book is a revision guide - these can be a bit hit and miss.....

Thanks, will get dd to ask her teacher.

Another biologist here - like Islets you can tell us by our names....

Either of those you linked to would be current, as 2015 was the first year that the specification was taught. However I would wait and ask school as they may recommend a particular book / guide which they may then refer to.

I found this site the other day which she may find helpful - it's notes for the Edexcel B topics.
